The following information explains which data is collected when you visit our website and the purposes for which this data is processed and used, as well as the rights to which you are entitled. We process your data confidentially and in accordance with the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

2. Collection and storage of personal data

Our website is designed for informational use and can be visited without registration. It does not collect any personal data, nor does it use cookies. When you visit our website, the following data will automatically be collected, this being technically necessary in order for us to display our website to you and to ensure system security: browser type and version, operating system, URL of the previously visited site, IP address of the accessing computer and date and time of the server request. Under no circumstances do we use the data collected for the purpose of drawing conclusions about you as an individual.

3. Processing of personal data

As a language services company, we also process personal data that you voluntarily make available to us in connection with an enquiry or the placement of an order. This data will be used exclusively to reply to your queries (customer data), to provide our services (job data) and for accounting purposes (payment data). It will only be processed with your prior consent for the purposes approved by you. The legal basis for the data processing is provided for by Art. 6 (1) GDPR.

4. Disclosure of personal data

We will not disclose your personal data to third parties without your express consent unless we are legally obliged to do so or the disclosure of such data is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party.

5. Data erasure and storage limitation

Unless expressly stated in this Privacy Notice, the data stored by us will be erased as soon as it is no longer required for its intended purpose and provided no legal obligations to retain the data preclude its erasure. Insofar as the data is not deleted because it is required for other and legally permissible purposes, its processing will be restricted; the data will then be blocked and not processed for other purposes.

6. Rights of data subjects

Where your personal data is processed, you are the data subject within the meaning of the GDPR and have the right to request information about the personal data we process relating to you. You also have the right to request rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, provided that this does not conflict with any legal obligation to retain the data. These rights derive in particular from Articles 15 to 20 of the General Data Protection Regulation. In accordance with Art. 7 (3) GDPR you have the possibility of withdrawing your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time. If you believe that the processing of personal data relating to you is in breach of data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR. The supervisory authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
